2011 has been a very good year for Mitsubishi. Thanks in part to new models available for the first time at Biggers Mitsubishi in Elgin, IL, the auto maker has witnessed 13 consecutive month of high sales increases. Starting in September 2010, Mitsubishi's year-to-date sales are 59% higher than sales during the first nine months of 2010.

Key highlights during the past year include:

Mitsubishi Outlander Sport sold 1512 units in Sept. 2011.

Mitsubishi Motors North America sold 5803 vehicles in Sept. 2011.

Sales of Mitsubishi vehicles for year-to-date 2011 are at 65,875 units, a 59.1% increase.
